Artist

Max Max doesn’t just make music—he builds bridges between Cuba and the rest of the world.

Max Max is a singer-songwriter, producer, and arranger, trained in classical voice at Havana’s prestigious Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA). His deep musical foundation is paired with a natural gift for crafting poetic, emotionally rich compositions. Fluent in multiple languages and genres, Max Max draws from bolero, Latin pop, and tropical rhythms to create a sound that is soulful, expressive, and uniquely his own—blending the timeless with the contemporary.

Before stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, Max Max spent years shaping the Latin music landscape from behind the scenes and onstage. He performed with iconic merengue groups like Aníbal Bravo y su Orquesta and Jossie Esteban y la Patrulla Quince in the Dominican Republic, and later became the lead vocalist for To’ Mezclao and Pupy y Los Que Son Son, touring extensively through Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America. His voice has been featured in acclaimed compilations such as 100 Sones de Cuba and Vintage Remix under the UK’s Tumi Music label.

Now, with his debut album A Media Luz, Max Max begins a new chapter—one that’s personal, vulnerable, and intentionally his. Every lyric carries emotional weight, and every melody is a reflection of his roots—refined yet raw, timeless yet new.
